watermark PRO App Reviews

i cannot upload the pictures i made to Facebook.

Looks easy enough, but when you save your image it saves it in a proprietary “watermark” file format even though it says it is saving it in JPEG. Renaming the file doesn’t help. Preview can’t open these images, nor are they really JPEG images. They only way to use these images is to open them in watemark. Don’t waste your time with this app!

Watermark Pro is an excellent waterproofing app. It does exactly what it says it will do, and it does it quickly and easily... Once you understand how it works. Having only used it for a couple of days, I discovered (almost immediately) why there were angry reviews posted. Basically, the program has *two* different items that must be saved and despite the accompanying video tutorials, this fact is not made totally clear. 1. You will want to save the image you have watermarked and, 2. You will want to save the watermark itself. The fact that this distinction is not made clear, accounts for the few poor reviews in which users were angry that the program saved their files in a format not readable by their designated programs. The watermark itself, is saved in a file with the extension .watermark. The image that you watermark, is saved as you want (jpg, tiff, png, pdf... etc.). It took some playing around with the app before I was able to determine the distinction. The SAVE command is related to saving the watermark whereas, the "Start Processing" button actually saves the image (with the watermark on it). Once I got past that hurdle, the app worked like a dream. I havent even dealt with the bells and whistles such as when batch processing, being able to label/title images automatically. Give your images a name and then with the click of a button add a count as part of the label (1 of 50 for example). There are a couple of in-app purchases but they will not inhibit you from trying out the program fairly completely. Ive been searching for an app this full featured on the Mac for a long time. My suggestion is to just download it. It is easily a 5 star app.

This app does watermark your photos as it says it will. That said, I am having a difficult time figuring out how to say the watermark so I can use it again without having to redo it. Yes it will save but I can’t figure out how to open it for the next use. Once I get that figured out I would probably rate it as a fvie star.

Load one or 500 pics, works every time, very well, with very little kinks. Recommended !!!

I just download it on Mavbook air but i can’t even use it ,Apple page block up i cant do anything

whenever i tried opening the app a welcome window would pop up with an add for photo editing and this window had no exit button for me to click on so i was unable to water mark any of my pictures.

only allowed 5 photos to be watermarked and would not save them in the needed formats

Very easy to use! Even a computer-impaired person like I am has no difficulties figuring this out. I love the way the watermark comes out, shadow and all. BUT if you do not like to set the watermark apart you just can use no shadow. Perfect application every time.

I needed to add a transparent (png) watermark to a photo. Well thought out in-app video tutorials made that simple. I was a bit confused about where to find the destination file info when I was ready to save the completed file. The pop up kept telling me it was on the right, but I couldn’t see it and the video tutorial links had disappeared once I imported my photo. (The destination file drop down needed to be expanded before I could see it). That was the only confusion I had. Otherwise, this app worked like a charm. I was grateful for Voltos review. It gave me the courage to download the app in light of the negative reviews. So glad I did. Watermark Pro did exactly what I wanted it to do quickly and easily. Thanks so much for this great app.

Honest. This app has helped me out a great deal in the work I am doing. I read some of the negatives people had written and was hesitant but I have not found any big issues. The only thing I noticed is that I wanted to use a comma but it didn’t work. I brought it to the attention of the developer and they stated they would work on it. Other then that GREAT APP. Thanks :-)

This app is awesome, works great, and simple to use

interface is a little less that fully flexible - there should also be a way to import the watermarks - seperate from the images so that they can be reused - other than that it works well - for me am looking for the next version for sure -

Though a bit of a learning curve if unaccustomed to these types of programs, it was working fine. Then it quit saving as jpg, so I could no longer export photos to facebook, etc. Now I have to do a screenshot, which is inane. If you only need to watermark a handful of photos, this is your free program. I don’t know if the paid version saves unlimited photos to your hard drive; there’s no documentation. Obviously, if you have a number of photos to watermark, look for another program, as I currently am.

This app is easy to use and when I am working with my photos it is easy to mark several photos at the same time. I love photography and this is a great program for marking all of my photos. The only thing that I can think of to make it better would be to save my water marks like a signature and let me choose the one that I need.

I just wanted something simple and easy to use to put a web address on some photos. It does that, with a lot more bells and whistles than I need (but maybe I’ll use some someday!). Easy to learn, easy to use, works like it says it will! Nice product!

Ive tried lots of watermarking programs and this has the best interface and by far the cleanest and simplest and most important fastest Ive used, I paid the unlimited tray upgrade gladly as soon as I saw how much time this program would save for me. There are a few quirks that would be nice to change but still a 5-star app for my needs, thanks!

I cant upload any of the pics i watermark because they automatically save as .watermark Is there a fix for this ? thanks

I like it! Had to search how to save it as a JPG, but once I figured it out, it’s fine

I like this and found it easy to master; intuitive and no problems with outcome. Have not used it extensively but serves my needs very nicely to protect prorpietary photos and paper memroabilia for online sales.
